JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now seeking park workers for the 2026 season for our outdoor environment unit.

We are responsible for the management and maintenance of the municipality's parks, nature, and property areas, as well as having practical responsibility for roads and bathing areas. The unit also manages the municipality's forests, lakes, and natural areas.

Our municipality is called "Skåne's Green Heart," and as the name suggests, the outdoor environment is close to our hearts. The municipality has invested in and developed the outdoor environment for several years, and we are committed to managing these outdoor spaces in the best possible way.

This role allows us to be involved in many different contexts. It is important that you have the ability and eye for the green craft, as well as experience with handheld gardening tools such as hedge trimmers and string trimmers.

QUALIFICATIONS

We want you to have a relevant education in the field of park work/outdoor environment maintenance or documented experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You have a good ability to collaborate, provide service, and engage positively with others. Green space maintainers work closely together and come into contact with many citizens and customers; therefore, we value this ability highly. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, collaborative skills, and contributions to a good and caring work environment.

It is an advantage if you have brush cutter certification, chainsaw certification A, B, C, E, lift certification, work on roads, B 96 (extended trailer license), as well as various training in pruning and tree care.

It is beneficial if you have good plant knowledge.

You have the ability to seek and absorb information from our digital systems.

You need basic IT skills.

A driving license B is required for the position.
